Be prepared to do your best – it’s your future. Your ACT Test score is a key factor in the college admissions process, and two of the most common challenges for ACT testers are the Math & Science sections. Whether you are taking the ACT for the first time or working to improve a previous score, these workshops offer you a chance to study and prepare under the guidance of RSU Testing Specialist Jeff Gaffen.

Jeff Gaffen has been a Green Country (post)secondary math educator/tutor since 1997, and currently runs the RSU Testing Center. He has done ACT Math/Science & SAT Math prep since 1998 and does so predominantly through Huntington Learning Center (Tulsa) & NSU-Broken Arrow Continuing Education. When not tutoring, Jeff occasionally performs/emcees/ushers in & around the Tulsa area.

  • Bachelor of Arts, Secondary Math Education, University of Tulsa
  • Oklahoma state-certified in all secondary math levels
  • Taught math previously for (Tulsa) Union High School, Claremore High School, Bacone College (Muskogee), Tulsa Community College, Rogers State University, & University of Tulsa
  • Former host of RSU TV’s high school academic team game show, “I Want Answers” (2013-2016 seasons)
